 The 260 is a superb sea boat handling better at sea than most boats 10' longer. In either petrol or diesel stern drive the boat jumps easily
onto the plane and reach speeds in excess of 30 knots. Weather pushing into a head sea or running in a following sea, the Deep Vee hulls are dry and easily manageable with no tendency
to roll or yaw. Safety is our foremost concern.
Our Deep Vee Hulls have the latest new generation hulls. The fine Deep Vee bow allows the nose to be trimmed into a head sea without loss of speed. The deadrise varies all the way to
the transom where the hull exhibits an exit vee of 19 degrees. These new hull shapes use less power, are drier and extremely soft riding.
All Deep Vees are built using hand laid solid bottoms with cored sides and extra heavy duty stringers. All contributing to the backbone of the boat. Watertight bulkheads run longitudinally
whilst the glassed in running strakes all ad to the superior strength.
The decks of all Deep Vees are primarily set up to fish. Large cockpits, wide gunwale covering boards, tackle and baiting station, cockpit ice box, all there for the fisherman. The flybridge
on the 260 has seating for 3 or 4 with the dashboard having room for electronics and autopilot. On the bow is a large anchor locker, bow sprit/anchor platform with provision for the optional anchor winch.
 The Deep Vee 260 is spacious inside and will accommodate up to 4 overnight. The V berth is huge and can sleep either 2 singles or a couple.
The convertible dinette sleeps a comfortable single or friendly couple. The galley is large with ample cupboard space and there is provision for the optional under bench refrigerator. The
bathroom is large and can be fitted with a hot/cold shower and you will be amazed by the excellent storage under the bunks and under the saloon floor. The Deep Vee 260 has an airy
and open plan feel to it which will appeal to the discerning entertainer and hardcore fisherman alike.
