Black Watch 30  In 1990 the original mouldings for the 310 Deep Vee were imported and production of the first Express models started in 1992. Many were sold within Australia and the Pacific Islands. The flybridge model was introduced in 1994 and quickly became the benchmark for other manufactures to achieve. Performance of the 310 was excellent due to the now legendary Deep Vee hull shape as designed by Raymond Hunt. These next generation hulls are efficient, soft riding and dry.

Today the Deep Vee 310 has a redesigned interior with dinette, galley, shower and toilet. Up forward you will find as a large v-berth enabling you to sleep 4 comfortably and entertain 6 people in the large cockpit.

With standard power the Deep Vee 310 accelerates quickly and reaches a top speed of approximately 30 knots. Like all Deep Vee Boats the 310 is nimble and able to maneuver quickly when running down a fish or exploring new and exciting waterways. The cruise speed is around 24/25 knots. The Deep Vee 310 is first in rough water due to the Deep Vee varying deadrise hull form. When trimmed down by the nose into a head sea the boat will not slow down or labor but instead carve into each wave before rising. Many boats of this length throw their bows up on each wave, the Deep Vee hull with its fine entry slices through. Elegance. At rest the 30 is very stable due to the wide waterline beam at the transom and very low center of gravity. Comfort and safety.

Black Watch 30 stern  The Deep Vee 310 cockpit is spacious with ample room for a heavy tackle chair and 4 anglers or conversely a gathering of family and friends for entertaining. Game and sports fishing is designed for sportfishing with underfloor lockers , live well, deck wash and an optional baiting station with sink. The wide cockpit covering boards make for comfortable seating and easy handling of fish when alongside. On the bridge are 2 helm chairs and an ice box observers seat. The custom Deep Vee targa style top and 3 side clear screens make the bridge dry and ready for all weather use.

The upgraded 310 interior is now fully moulded in fibreglass and finished in fine fabrics and materials. The interior is roomy and has plenty of light . To starboard is a galley with 2 burner cooktop, sink and cupboard or optional fridge under. To port is a 4 seat dinette which converts to a large single or snug double berth. The bathroom is located to starboard , forward of the galley and has hot shower and vanity. The v-berth is large and can sleep 2 singles or a double. A hanging locker and extra storage is located opposite the bathroom.

The rear bulkhead is standard with windows and door an optional open rear bulkhead can be fitted at no charge which gives excellent fishability.
