The "CHIRIPA" is a classic Hatteras sportfish, equipped and designed for serious big game fishing. She has been a productive
member of Kona's sport fishing fleet for many years and has been professionally maintained for most of her working life. The forward cabin sports a vee-berth with storage beneath
and a second cabin is located to starboard with an enclosed head and shower. The salon is spacious, with plenty of cabinet storage and comfortable seating. The fishing
equipped cockpit is complete with cockpit controls, Murray Brothers fighting chair, rod holders, prep station and wash down system. The fly bridge offers seating for six and is
equipped with an overhead electronics box. The tuna tower is equipped with full controls.
PROPULSION
Twin Caterpillar 3208N, 210-hp. V-8 diesels (new in 1994, rebuilt in 2004), with Twin Disc MG506 hydraulic transmissions (2:1
reduction). 300 gallons of fuel in two fiberglass tanks. 6000 hours since engine rebuild.
