"Kona Blue Ekahi" is a stoutly-built, welded-aluminum landing craft-type work boat. The vessel is laid out with a bow ramp/door forward,
which can be raised and lowered, and there is an A-frame davit available that mounts over the door. Aft of the bow door is a large open work deck. Two-thirds of the way aft is a raised
deck with helm station on top, and the engine room below. A short tuna tower structure is mounted over the helm station, providing shade and a raised viewing platform. Aft of that there
is a lower working deck with a substantial towing bit. All hardware (cleats, bitts, etc.) are oversized and substantial. Stern mounted folding swim step. Boat has a replacement value of
over $200,000 and a surveyed value that is double her asking price.
PROPULSION
Twin Detroit Diesel 4-53N 100 HP diesel inboards with @ 3000 hours since major overhaul (2005). Borg Warner transmissions with 2:1 gear ratios turning 1
1/2" shafts and 24x17 3-blade bronze props. Two 8-D batteries. Single 100 gallon integral fuel tank.
