This lovely 46' Hatteras "Grand Slam" is one of the most popular boats in the Kona charter fleet, and she has been upgraded regularly and well
maintained. Built as a 42' and extended 4', the cockpit is huge! Her Large interior has a roomy salon, two staterooms, a full galley, and a roomy head with shower stall. Her large
flybridge has bench seating to port, and in front of the console, with pedestal seating for the Captain. The tuna tower is great for spotting whales, but is not equipped as a helm station.
PROPULSION
Cummins VT 903 turbocharged & inner-cooled diesels were installed in 2001 and have 9,000 hours since new. Engines are de-tuned with small
injectors and develop approximately 400 H.P. Capital transmissions drive 1 ¾" shafts and 26 X 28 four blade propellers. She carries 550 gallons of fuel in three fiberglass tanks.
