DESCRIPTION

   The "Kaimaka" is one of Gold Coast Yachts' most state-of-the-art day-sailing catamarans. Ruggedly constructed of advanced composite copolymer design with vacuum bagged epoxy resin and fiberglass components, she is a 49 passenger, beach-loadable, day sailor, perfect for coastal and sunset cruises, marine mammal watching and snorkel trips.
   The layout includes a spacious well-shaded cabin with u-shaped wet bar and seating area, with easy access to head compartments and storage areas in each hull. Stainless steel and fiberglass bow shoes are reinforced for beaching.  Max speed is 22.5 knots.  Fully equipped and ready for charter with current USCG COI.

SAILS/SPARS

    Charleston F-2390 fixed aluminum mast w/ Facnor F-40  cars & track.  Charleston aluminum boom. Full batten 716 sq ft main.  326 sq ft jib on N-52 Profurl roller reefing system.  Four Lewmar #48, one 44 and one 40 winches for sail handling.

PROPULSION

    Twin Cummins QSB 5.9, 230 HP diesels w/ Cummins Smart Craft instrument packages.  Morse controls, ZF Hurth Marine transmissions. Straight shafts w/ 24x25 props.  400 gallons fuel in 2 aluminum tanks.
