Captain Jerry Allen
Captain Jerry Allen brings a lot of valuable experience to Pacific Boats & Yachts where he serves as our Senior Broker.
After 30 years in the retail auto business, during which time he owned dealerships in both Kansas and Texas, Jerry retired to Kona in 1987 to be
closer to the great game fishing on the Kona coast. He soon got bored in his retirement, and in 1989 he went to work for Nelson's Yacht Brokerage, the predecessor to Pacific Boats and Yachts.
 Since 1990, Jerry has also owned an operated a charter fishing
business on his 31' Bertram "Sea Dancer," which keeps him close to the action and in daily contact with the sportfishing industry. In mid-May 2001 he realized a longtime dream when one of his charter
clients landed a 1021-pound Pacific blue marlin "grander."
Jerry has been happily married to his lovely wife Bobbie since 1955, and they have two children and four grandchildren.
His years of experience in both the automobile industry and the sport fishing industry have allowed Jerry to successfully assist many
individuals and businesses in the selection and procurement of their optimum vessel. He has also become Brokerage's expert in complexities of the transfer of corporate stock, slips and permits.
